Major activities:

Annual Conferences are held every year in different cities of India. ISRPT conferences promotes inclusivity by selecting non-metro locations as venue apart from the metro cities as a venue of annual conference. After the brief break during the COVID pandemic, conferences were organized in the smaller cities of India like Indore (2021), Hyderabad (2022), Manipal (2023).

Pre-conference workshops: Workshops are organized targeting skill development ang the young medical postgraduates, senior Pharmacologists and other medical professionals. Important topics covered in such workshops in the recent past include Pharmacoeconomics, GCP, Pharmacokinetics for the postgraduates, research methodology, basic statistics etc.

Satellite workshops & symposiums: Conducted all over the year in the Country depending on local need and demand. Several workshops were conducted by the ISRPT experts on Bioethics and Good Clinical Practice in different places in the past few years. Primary focus remains on the basics and proving step by step guidance to formational and functioning of the Ethics committee. ISRPT workshops remained immense help to the organizations newly establishing Institutional Ethics Committee. Several new IECs achieved DHR & CDSCO registration after the workshops. Some of the cities where such programs were organized were Durgapur, Burdwan, Cooch Behar, Kolkata (in collaboration with ICMR-NICED formerly ICMR-NICED), Moradabad etc.

Webinars: Webinars are conducted time to time on contemporary topics by experts of the fields.

Awards: Ex-Pharm award and JIPMER award were declared by senior ISRPT members and are given to promote research and presentation. Such awards are usually presented during the annual conference for best oral paper and poster presentation.
